I'm pretty sure I went crazy. Every time I started an account I got frustrated and wanted to leave. I'm still wondering if I'm doing the right thing posting here at all... Though since my art is not that great would it be appropriate for some other place? :/Oh, no. You are not.
You are just uncertain in yourself. (There are times I also feels like this, but if you keep doing it, it will pass.) There are pretty much dA users who draws like me in primary school and they are still here, putting their drawings up. You are far more better. But you could try Tumblr and CGhub if you are not satisfied with deviantart. I try to explore the internet and spread my things everywhere. (Although, it didn't work as I planned. X,D)
Now, I'm watching PaintTool SAI and Photoshop tutorials and speedpaints on Youtube. They are really useful if you want to work on computer. Even you could use them, because they could improve your style, speed and the tools and technics you can use.
If you are willing to became better, I suggest them to you. And Paint Tool SAI.
If you are not know it. It's pretty easy to use and it's really a painting software, not a photo-editing one so I think it's really useful.
And speak with people. Try to find groups. It's sometimes really tiring to build up friendships on the internet, and keep them and it kills normal social life, but if you want to come to dA excited always, you need to try. ()
Be a daredevil and everything will work out! So, head up! I wish you plenty of luck and great times here.

I should really kick my butt and start doing something instead of just sitting around and feeling sorry for myself
